You Are - Machine Embroidery Flap Design Series - Created in the Image of God

Sew Powerful is pleased to offer exclusive machine embroidery designs custom sized to decorate your Beginner or Intermediate Sew Powerful purse flap in a variety of hoop sizes. A new inspirational design will post from January 2025 through December 2025, excluding September. Each will reflect a different attribute of children of God. These designs, not available anywhere else, were developed and digitized by one of our very own Facebook Administrators, Peggy Creighton.

The embroidery files are free and work like this: You will select the design you want to embroider, download the zipped file, then unzip it. You will find 4 files: an instruction sheet plus 3 more zipped files named by size of the design. The following guidelines will help you choose which zip file to use based on the size hoop your embroidery machine supports.

• For those with hoops 8"x12" or larger, you can choose the “In-The-Hoop” Flap where your embroidery machine will stitch the background, the embroidery design, and attach the lining to the flap front.
• For those with hoops that are at least 6"x10", you can choose the 6x10 design where your embroidery machine will stitch the background in a slightly smaller area than the “In-The-Hoop” version. It also stitches the embroidery design. You will attach the lining using your sewing machine.
• For those who have a 4"x4" or larger hoop, you can stitch the embroidery design without the background quilting, completing the flap using your sewing machine. Even those with the largest hoop may want to use the 4x4 design for a simple flap or to add the design to the back of the purse.
