The 2019 Sew Powerful Purse Unboxing Party Video

Our annual unboxing party is a fun tradition. Each year we celebrate together and prepare the purses to go to Zambia. Take a stroll down memory lane and watch our prior year's videos.

The 2017 Sew Powerful Purse Unboxing Party Videos

Thank You For Helping Us Achieve Our 2017 Purse Goal! In 2017 we received 6,483 Purses! Our 2018 goal is 8,500! We are incredibly grateful for the love and support for this program. Together we are Sew Powerful!

On Wednesday night October 11th we joined together from all around the world and celebrated as we prepared purses for shipment to Zambia. Our special guest was Phiona Mutesi aka The Queen Of Katwe. If you’re not familiar with the Disney movie that was made about her life, we’d encourage you to watch it! You can also watch the full length unboxing party (un-edited). We’d love to have you watch it on Facebook and comment, like, and share it. Use it to get your friends involved by sharing it with them!

You can also watch the full length unboxing party (un-edited) with the links below. We’d love to have you watch it on Facebook and comment, like, and share it. Use it to get your friends involved by sharing it with them!

Sew Powerful Purse Program

Our annual Sew Powerful Purse program enables girls to stay in school. Purses are made and sent to Zambia as gifts. The local seamstresses in Zambia make re-usable hygiene pads and together they are provided to girls as part of health (MHM) training. Get Involved
